John White - WB5EGQ - passed away on Tuesday, 12 May 2009.
John White was one of the founding members of the BBARC. He also spearheaded the design and construction of the first BBARC repeater. It consisted of two Motorola Micor mobiles on 2 meters/220 Mhz, and another Motorola Micor on 220 Mhz connected to a A.C.C. controller at Sul Ross State University. It was an impressive system.

John will be missed.
